Permits are not typically required in Brampton as long as the shed is under 108 square feet in size (10 Sq Mt), but there are other factors including height, placement on your property as well as any electrical or plumbing additions that can affect whether a permit is required or not. While it is ultimately the customer's responsibility to obtain permits, our team does provide you with the engineered plans, zoning requirement checklists, and contractor documents needed for your application. Ask about our permit support package during your consultation.

We require a levelled area; free of debris and clear brush with spacing access of 24” around 4 sides. Most of our customers use gravel bases or concrete slabs. Our team will bring leveling blocks to accommodate slopes up to 12” but beyond this threshold, regrading may be needed.

Our licensed delivery team transports fully assembled sheds using tilt-bed trucks. We ask that customers provide:

• 10’ vertical clearance
• 12’ wide access path
• Overhead wires no lower than 13’

• Sites requiring crane access for delivery ($250+)
• Extreme slopes requiring additional leveling blocks ($3.50/sq. ft)

• Any changes made later will incur fees as follows:
• Before manufacturing begins: 5-15% of project cost
• After manufacturing: 25-40% (may require rebuild)

• Provide zoning requirement checklists
• Flag potential issues on site visits/assessments
• Alter designs as needed to meet required setbacks

• Perform annual visual inspections of roof, flashing
• Remove debris from gutters or drains
• Reapply wood sealant every 3-5 years
• Lubricate door and hinge hardware seasonally
